The California Department of Water Resources (DWR) will host two informational webinar sessions on the recently released Guidance on General Plan Amendments for Addressing Flood Risk (September 2014). The Guidance document was developed to assist cities and counties within the Sacramento-San Joaquin Valley amend their general plans to address flood risk (Senate Bill 5 (2007) as amended in 2012).
